An Appeal to Self-Interest

in a world of hate

and division;

a world that will

not stand up to

violence out

of fear or

complacency

or whatever

reason we use

to excuse our

acquiesence,

just know

that we are

all Muslim

all gay

all black

all refugees

and all​​ 

homeless

and our

unwillingness

to confront

the leaders

encouraging this

madness

is our own

suicide.
