As all the prophets of old
have foretold it…
As John and Zachariah
and Elizabeth
have promised…
The time is drawing near.
Hear the call to
come to the Light
to receive the hope
and to encounter the
Dawning of the Peace!
Shepherds, are you here?
Do you hear the call?
Are you coming to the Light?
We are here but we do not know if we are welcome.
We do not often touch the beautiful and the clean.
We are coarse; we are from the fields and hillsides,
from the alleys and the roads; and we have the
dirt of life on us. Will the door be open for us?
Come, you are welcome here.
All are invited to the manger
of the new Kindom.
You will not be turned away.
Wise Ones, sages and teachers,
do you see the star?
Are you on your way?
Are you following the Light?
We are here but we are unsure if we are welcome.
We are doubting if this can be true; we question
if we are welcome due to our doubt; even if we
have riches to bring and power to bestow, will
this new Kindom welcome us?
Come, you are welcome here.
All are invited to the manger
of the new Kindom.
You will not be turned away.
Innkeeper, are you ready
with your warm beds and fine linens?
Will you hear the knock at the door?
Are you ready to turn on the Light?
I am here but I wonder if I have the time
to welcome these visitors. My inn is full; my time
is in demand. I am so busy how can I welcome
any new Kindom?
Come, you are welcome here
Give what you can. You are enough.
All are invited to the manger
of the new Kindom.
You will not be turned away.
Mary and Joseph are you drawing near?
Do you hear the call?
Are you ready to bring the world a new Light
and a Dawning of the Peace?
We are here but we are simple people.
We have only a little faith to give.
We do not have money and we must
ride a slow, old donkey to this simple manger.
How can we be a part of any new Kindom?
Come, you are welcome here.
All are invited to the manger
of the new Kindom.
You will not be turned away.
The time is drawing near.
Hear the call to
come to the light
to receive the hope
and to encounter the
Dawning of the Peace!
