The Man Carrying the Water Jar
became a single link to a vacant
room in a busy and packed city
where capacity had been stretched
to the limit; the man doing woman’s work
was not ignored or ridiculed but sought
by none other than the Son of the Most High
who apparently was not offended
or threatened or disgusted by such a
man; instead he was a welcome resource
for the group of friends
needing a place for a Passover supper;
a guide to an otherwise hidden spot and
so it seems that The Man Carrying
the Water Jar was a pivot for the
important Last Supper; someone
sought by God and it did not matter
why a man did not behave like a man
was supposed to; did not fit the norm
