and here we are

only a few years behind

Orwell’s schedule

but a few decades

beyond Hitler’s​​ 

in the throes

of the Dark Ages

ignoring the evidence

rejecting the informed

worshipping the strong

and killing the weak

with the blessings of

the entrenched religious.

For me, the Renaissance cannot​​ 

come soon enough.
